Big Bang

Just got done watching the Big Bang Theory and Sheldon stated that Ubuntu was his favorite Linux Based Operating System , I could not agree more. I have personally tried many "flavors" of the Linux OS - including Slackware, Red Hat, Mandrake - Mandriva, Pioneer, Lycoris, Lindows, Linspire, Freespire, Suse - OpenSuse, Fedora, Dragon, and more. These are just a partial list of versions that I actually installed on a pc - not to mention the countless Live CD's that I have also tried/experimented with. The simple fact is that Ubuntu out performs all of them. Everything just works. I turn on my pc and first of all it boots lightning fast - I have not actually timed it but I would guess it only takes about 1 minute from the time I hit the power button - until I am clicking Firefox to get online. No waiting for virus and spyware protections to load - or other start-up items - no waiting for my pc to update while my internet and performance grind to a halt. I simply turn it on and I am ready to use the pc - and it works. I can get on and do what I need to do.
